Brazilian IT students gain new opportunities with open source training

Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG) is one of Brazil’s leading technology universities. Having been involved with open source research and in particular, OpenStack for many years, UFCG was concerned that technology students were leaving university without the necessary practical experience required to get a job. To solve the problem, UFCG and Red Hat are currently setting up a Red Hat^® Academy lab to run courses that will deliver valuable Red Hat training and enable students to obtain Red Hat certification.
